I meant to post something last night, but my Internet had temporarily flatlined.
Likewise, I meant to post something a little longer tonight. However, after a long day at work, I ended up being invited to dinner in downtown Portland with some coworkers.
We stayed late, of course. The food was good, the stories were amusing, and it was a whole lot nicer than spending an evening by myself. I didn’t say much; mostly I just listened to people talk. Overall, a fun night on the town. The only bummer was that I missed out on the first meeting of my Bible study. Oh, well.
Wow, this post is pretty dull. If you’re reading this, I hope you weren’t expecting much. I need to have a free evening when I can sit down and write something more thoughtful – something that could potentially blow your mind. But this post won’t do that for you, so sorry.
No inspiring quote at the end either. I’ll just wrap it up here for tonight so I can get to sleep and dream of longer, more interesting blog posts.
