That’s how a coworker described the restaurant we visited in Portland’s Chinatown this evening. Ping was the name of the place. There were four of us, one of whom is from overseas and won’t be in town much longer. So, we thought we’d have dinner on the town.
The food was great – and quite unusual. Have you ever seen a pork knuckle served on a platter? We also had octopus, lamb, and roasted chili peppers among other things. It made for an interesting evening, to be sure.
So if you’re ever walking around Portland feeling hungry and suddenly find yourself in Chinatown, check out Ping’s.
And… that’s about it, really.
God bless, and good night!
