Tonight I connected with some Portland creatives and a Nike athlete over dinner at my cousins’ place. We were meeting to discuss a future project and all the prep work it would entail – a big part of which involves visual branding. There were about 8 or 9 of us there, including one designer I interviewed over email during my senior year at Oregon State University. It really is a small world.
Anyway, the project will be a product of the partnership between WorldVision and the Lopez Lomong Foundation. Lopez’s story is powerful, and he has leveraged it to deliver basic life essentials back to the place of his birth in what is now South Sudan. You can learn more about him and what he stands for by clicking here. If you like what you see, be sure to follow him on Facebook and/or Twitter.
I could say more here, but it’s getting late and I should really be in bed now.
Last bit of news: I’ll be moving into a new apartment this weekend. The best part about this? It’s a two-bedroom apartment, so I can finally have a dedicated studio for my work! No longer will I have to do EVERYTHING in my living room. Anyway, I’m thrilled.
And that’s a wrap.
God bless and good night!
