First off, Happy Mothers’ Day to my mom and all other mothers out there. Love you, Mom!
Now, this will be short, but I wanted to share a tidbit from a conversation I had with an old college buddy this weekend: We all know about womens’ intuition – the innate and inexplicable ability of females to sense things that often elude their male counterparts. Yet, it’s an oft unrecognized fact that men, too, have a kind of intuition. Let’s call it “mantuition”. Simply put (and, mind you, this is a generalization), men are better judges of other men than are women.
For example, say a women is in a relationship with a guy, and he’s kind of a lazy bum – the kind of guy who’s still living in his parents’ basement playing video games all day. This is almost always a symptom of some bigger problem (slothfulness, complacency, lack of commitment, etc.). Whereas the woman might not pick up on this right away, her other (upstanding) male friends will. The reason? Men are experts in male psychology and behavior. Mantuition sniffs out the sleezeballs.
That said, it’s not by any means. It can sometimes be skewed by jealousy and/or some sort of grudge against the other guy. But then, I suppose that’s where womens’ intuition comes in…
Before I dig myself into too deep of a hole, I think I’ll just end there tonight. Responses are welcome, if you feel so inclined.
Oh, and I’m still determined to get some fresh artwork uploaded, so bear with me. I know I’ve been saying that since January, but I’m not one to give up so easy.
God bless and good night!
